What data is collected and why

We collect data for the legitimate interests of conducting business with you. The data collected is the name and address data you enter on the checkout form, along with the products that you purchase, time of purchase and your credit card data.

Our website stores your name, email address, billing and shipping addresses and purchases along with any personalisation options or purchase notes. We do not store your credit card information.

Who we share your data with

If you subscribe to our newsletter your email address is recorded at Mailchimp for the purpose of sending a newsletter.

If you add items to your basket, your name and other details are recorded at Mailchimp for the purpose of sending a newsletter (only if you subscribe) or for following up by email on purchases or abandoned purchases.

If you make a purchase, your name, address and credit card data are sent to, and stored at, Stripe (our payment processor) for the purpose of verifying your right to use the credit card (fraud protection) and taking the payment. The credit card number is not made available to us, but is securely stored at Stripe so that a refund can be made if necessary.

Data retention

Data will not be kept for longer than is necessary.

Data access

You may request a copy of data held about you providing you

  1. Pay an administration fee of £10.
  2. Supply sufficient evidence that you are the subject of the data. We will usually accept a photocopy of your passport certified by a solicitor or bank plus an original copy of a utility bill showing your current address.
